Jack gets his brother Graem to confess that the nukes were taken from his company and sold to the terrorists. Graem takes Jack to the office of McCarthy, the man who stole them. Jack finds his father there. Phillip Bauer took on the search for McCarthy himself to protect Graem. Jack convinces Phillip that they must involve CTU, despite the fact that this will incriminate Graem. Yet Graem takes both his father and Jack hostage in order to prevent Jack from alerting the authorities.
